Since the turn of the century, the vinyl, which most thought was a dead audio format, has seen a surprising resurgence. Tens of millions of copies have sold across both sides of the Atlantic, bucking the trend that saw physical, tangible objects being replaced by digital formats. Like we did for the venerable tape cassette a few weeks ago, we let our minds wonder and had a think about what a 2020 vinyl upgrade might look like. It turns out there was indeed an update to the LP, the 12-inch version of the vinyl medium, but it was used for video, not audio. Motorola’s latest G series device, the Moto G9 will go on sale in India today. The device was announced last week in India as India’s first smartphone with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset. The Moto G9 will go on sale in India 12 noon on Flipkart. Xiaomi’s Mi Band series has been India’s go-to budget fitness trackers for the past few years. The Mi Band 4 is soon expected to get a successor with the Mi Band 5 , which is already available in China. The device will be available on Amazon and Mi.com.  This is the first sale of the device since it was launched in India last week. This is Xiaomi’s first device in India to run on MIUI 12 out of the box.
